The government has become relatively stable, the country is incredibley diverse and there are many opportunities for entrapeneurs to create a lifestyle of the rich and famous on very little investment.

All of the waterfront land on the Rio Dulce was declared national park in the 1980's but much of that land was owned prior to that happening. Some of this land is avalaible on 35 year extendable leases. Much of the inland properties are avalaible for purchase without the lease options and you do not need to be a resident in either case. When people come to me with something, I will do what I can to do title searches to insure a clear title and then post those listings here. I still advise that you obtain an attorney to finalize any land transactions as in this case, I can not be responsible for deals that go sour.

A good thing to know when buying property here is that 1 manzana = 1.7 Acres.
